This summer, the regional school improvement team from the Department of Education’s School and Leader Quality Division will offer learning sessions for system leaders to introduce and utilize the three newly-revised resources now known as the Keys to Quality:  Unlocking Continuous Improvement. These powerful resources are listed below and are now available for you to use to support your system and school improvement efforts. These summer learning sessions will allow your team to focus on your system through the lens of the school standards utilizing your own data to determine targets and develop action plans.

A session will be held in both the northern and southern regions in an effort to accommodate summer schedules. The first session will be held at East Georgia College on June 28, 2007 and the second at CSRA RESA on July 26, 2007. Both sessions will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Systems may register for either session. 

We highly recommend that your attending team consists of your superintendent, system leaders and school principals. We understand that the composition of the teams may vary from system to system to meet your needs. The Keys to Quality boxed sets will be given out to systems at these sessions.
