About Gloria Gabriel Dr. Gloria Gabriel has been an educator for over 20 years. She has experience in elementary, middle, and high school levels. She has served as a teacher, a media specialist, an assistant principal, and a principal. Her most recent school level position was as principal of a middle school in Banks County, Georgia. Gloria’s professional preparation includes a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, an Masters degree in Instructional Technology, and both Specialist and Doctorate degrees in Educational Leadership. Dr. Gabriel received her professional preparation at The University of Georgia in Athens. Gloria’s passion is improving the teaching/learning process. As Professional Learning Coordinator at CSRA RESA, Gloria has responsibility for coordinating professional learning within the RESA district, assisting schools in implementing school improvement practices, coordinating School Council Trainings, assisting with coordination of the leadership development program, serving as an instructor for the Teacher Alternative Preparation Program, assisting schools with the implementation of the Georgia Performance Standards, and providing workshops and seminars in gender differentiation strategies, discipline, data analysis, Thinking Maps, the middle school learner, and substitute training for local systems. |
