Areas of Responsibility: Coordinate and supervise candidates enrolled in the Georgia Teacher Academy of Preparation and Pedagogy, work with member districts to find eligible TAPP candidates for teaching vacancies, complete certification paperwork for successful candidates completing their programs.

About Beverly Hite

Beverly received her BA degree in Elementary Education from Augusta State University; then both Masters and Specialist degrees from Augusta State University in Educational Leadership and Supervision. After 13 years as an elementary school teacher, Beverly worked as an assistant principal and principal in several Richmond County schools for 14 years before retiring from Richmond County BOE and joining the staff at our CSRA RESA. Beverly has been recognized as a district Teacher of the Year and assisted with district level curriculum development. She enjoys sharing expertise in classroom management with beginning teachers and has worked in staff development and professional learning at both the school and district level.
